How we produce our mushroom extract tinctures
All our mushroom extract tinctures are dual extracted which means we carry out one alcohol/ethanol extraction and one hot water extraction. Our 1:4 ratio is the concentration of final product after dual extraction, so our 50ml bottles contain 1g of dried mushroom for every 4ml of tincture. This is a high concentration, meaning there are 12.5g (or 12,500mg) of dried mushroom in each 50ml bottle.
There are many mass-produced capsules and supplements on the market, shipped from the USA and China, with no way of knowing what’s actually in the product. Our tinctures are prepared on-site and the mushrooms we don’t grow are ethically sourced from organic certified farmers in Devon and Wales, with the exception of Chaga which is wild harvested in Scotland.
We produce our tinctures in small batches, safe in the knowledge that they haven’t lost any of the vital bioactive compounds from sitting around for a long time or shipped from the other side of the world.
How to take our mushroom tinctures
- Shake well before use and make sure the pipette is empty before shaking.
- Place under the tongue or in your favourite drink.
- Best taken once in the morning and once in the evening.
- 50ml bottle will last 25 days.
- Recommended daily dose is 1-2ml per day.
